In Queen Elizabeth
Hospital, Gateshead on the 19/07/79 a star was born. She went to Emmanuel
College getting an outstanding 13 GCSE's and an advanced GNVQ in Buisness
studies. She then went on to study drama and performing arts and newcastle
College and now she's it top band Liberty X.
Michelle has always wanted to sing. On family holidays at the Haven Holiday
Club at the young age of 10 she would enter and win talent contests performing
classics such as Whitney Houston's 'The Greatest Love of All'. When Michelle
left school she started work at the Baja Beach Club in Newcastle where
she was a 'theme dancer'. As well as this Michelle was working in the
clubs as a solo singer. She always wanted to be in a pop band and went
to every audition she could. She went to the audition for Girl Thing and
got down to the last 12. She also auditioned and got a place in the girl
group Sirens. She was in the band for about a year and, although, the
band didn't make it big it was a worthwhile experience for her as it was
in the band that she began to write her own music and realised how much
she enjoyed the creative side of being in a pop band. It was just after
she left the band when she went to the popstars auditions.
Michelle's ambition has always been to be in a signed popband, writing
and recordin her own music and being able to perform.
Michelle's dreams and ambitions are to be aa respected artist, to have
a reasonable chart position with Liberty's new single and album and to
be happy, live healthy and have lots of friends.
